How is Alberta doing? Is it perfect? Crumbling? Broken? How would we know in this time of divisive politics, political spin and distrust of media? Albertasaurus hungers for quick access to unspun information in six areas: health, economics, education, democraphics, democracy and the environment, and is especially hungry for anything to do with media and history. Albertasaurus needs to be continuously fed links, stats, sources, compliments . . .
Albertasaurus has a weakness for not-for-profit media but also consumes journalism in the private sphere if it separates fact from opinion, seeks out perspectives, values accuracy and aims to be a public service (as opposed to click baiting or raising revenues).
A relative of Tyranosaurus Rex, Albertosaurus was discoverd in the Alberta badlands. He was buried a long time, which may explain the attitude. He has a massive head, a bone-crushing bite and two fingers on each hand for smoking cigarillos. His binocular vision sees the evil that men do.
Albertasaurus cannot live on words and statistics alone. Images by Alberta artists are used wherever possible (credits in the section below) and there is a Playlist for a Land With 'No Rats' with mucic by Alberta musicians.
